Dear Chee sheong,
With summer travel--and summer photography--fast upon us, you may be giving thought to how you're going to transport all of your fragile and expensive gear. In this issue we introduce a new white paper, "The Top Six Points When Selecting a Roller." We also present some fun we had compiling a list of our innovations since the company's launch.

Think Tank is the premier designer of rolling camera bags for professional and serious amateur photographers. Buying a roller may be one of your more important purchasing decisions, and much thought should be given in its selection. To aid you in this decision, we have just published a new white paper, "The Top 6 Points When Selecting A Roller," that is available for free download.
Written by our team at Think Tank, this white paper was created by feedback that we received from hundreds of photographers around the globe. These insights include:
1. Does the roller fit on the airplane as carry-on baggage?
2. Does it hold my equipment?
3. If something goes wrong, is there a solid warranty?
4. Is it durable for extensive travel use?
5. Does it keep my gear secure--can I lock it up?
6. Does it hold my laptop?

Take A Look: Our Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Hutchins, was recently videotaped at the PMA tradeshow describing some of the unique features we built into our rolling bags that are highlighted in the white paper. We hope the white paper and the video are tools you can use to make an informed buying decision.

Matt Moses imageWe chose the name Think Tank Photo because we felt it best described our business goals and company culture. We are an idea-producing company that is completely focused on creating entirely new and innovative products that satisfy photographers' needs.
In looking back on our history, we realized that we have consistently developed many new concepts in carrying solutions that are redefining and revolutionizing the industry. This would not have been possible without the tremendous support and input from our customers.
For fun, take a look at the Think Tank Inventions list we compiled. (Photo credit: Matt Moses of Paul Phillips using the Modular Set.)

Within the Frame book coverNoted humanitarian photographer and author David du Chemin (www.pixelatedimage.com) has been a good friend to Think Tank since our launch. He has just published a significant new book, Within the Frame, that is designed to help you on your photographic journey to make better images of the places and people you love. He covers how to tell stories, and the technology and tools we have at our disposal in order to tell those narratives. Most importantly, he stresses the crucial theme of vision when it comes to photographing people, places, and cultures--and he helps you cultivate and find your own vision, and then fit it within the frame.
His publisher has kindly given us 10 copies of his book that we will be giving away in a free drawing. Please click here if you would like to enter your name in this drawing. We will be selecting the winners in early June.
