The Future Is Now: Introducing The Multimedia Wired Up Collection ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ With the introduction of the Canon 5D Mark II and the Nikon D90, which combine still, video, and audio, photographers and videographers are increasingly required to be experts in all three. To aid you in carrying your imaging and audio gear comfortably and accessing it quickly, we have launched an entirely new concept, The Multimedia Wired Up Collection. After months of interviewing specialists at the forefront of this new movement in imaging, and rigorous trial and error in the design room and the field, Think Tank's design team has produced an integrated system of feature-rich bags: Multimedia Wired Up 10 and 20 --These belt systems work well with the Canon 5D Mark II, Nikon D90, with a 24-70mm attached in the Wired Up 10, or with a 70-200mm attached in the Wired Up 20, and/or any handheld video recorders. They include cable ports, an audio recorder pocket that fits up to a Marantz 660, and side pockets for mics. They also feature a new concept--the Mic Holder--"Mic Hands" located on the both sides of the bag that allow the mic to be mounted on the side of the bag while facing forward on a level plane. This is helpful for omni directional mics. Both beltpacks feature Think Tank Photo's "Rotate or Lock" capability for carrying additional Modular or Skin cases, Mono Pod/Boom Pole attachment straps, plus the Multimedia Hook that allows the headphones to be quickly and easily attached and detached. The "No-Drop" design with "Quick Tab" enables hands free use and viewing audio levels with a quick pull of the tab. (Weight: 6.5 oz; Interior: 1.75"W x 4.5L x 8"H; Exterior: 2"W x 5"L x 8.25"H) The Multimedia Wired Up Big Audio case is designed to hold large mobile audio recorders like the Marantz 660 or carry small photographic items that are essential for capturing an event. Audio ports are located throughout the bag for cable management. Cables and other connectors can be stored inside the Cable Mangement bags that are included. It can carry a small, compact mic, or up to a 16" long shotgun mic. The Mic Drop-In is designed for quick retrieval of the microphone to record essential audio on location.
