One comment we consistently heard was: "What do I do with my cables?" Based upon their input, we created the Cable Management™ 10, Cable Management™ 20, Cable Management™ 50, and the newly released Cable Management™ 30. Read on...

Popular Photography Names Shape Shifter® One of "30 Best" of 2009
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hot One Award Popular Photography just named our Shape Shifter® backpack one of the 30 best products of 2009. In their own words: "We tried them, we loved, them, and now we laud them. Here's a round of applause for the photo products that wowed our editors the most this year."
They added: "The Shape Shifter is one of the only camera bags we've used that gets better after you've taken your camera out of it. A zipper around the sides of this backpack lets your shrink its depth, so it won't stick out very far while you shoot: Loaded with gear, it's 7 inches deep, but zipped tight, it's only 3 inches--no more smacking people with your pack when you turn to grab your shot."
VisionMonger cover Our good friend David duChemin has just published a new book, VisionMongers: Making A Life and a Living in Photography (New Riders; 2010). He and his publisher have kindly donated 5 copies of the book for us to give away in a random drawing. Click here if you would like a chance to have your name selected.
David describes it as "a sketchbook of ideas about the pursuit of professional photography. But it's more than that." With the lines between "the so-called professional and so-called amateur getting so blurred as to be almost meaningless...it is a vocation and the notion that some of us do this not to make a million but because we simply can't not do it. We feel called to it; by God, or our talent, our need to express ourselves, or just that persistent voice inside our heads that we can no longer ignore."
